Laitse castle, built between 1890-1892 from Vasalemma marble is one of the most effective neugothic manor's in Estonia. There are arcades, fiales and towers. It was built by baron Woldemar Uexküll, but through history it has also belonged to families Ulrich and Bremen. The most effective rooms inside are the arched vestibule and a hall with lot of graved details. In present day, the manor stands in private ownership, there's a pub, the halls can be reserved for seminars and parties. There is founded a sauna for recreation and there is available accomodation for 20 people in the old servants house in the edge of the park. Laitse castle is one of the most romantic places to rest near the capital.
